Hi everyone, and thanks for logging on!
As you'll see from the diary page, over the past three weeks
I've been touring around England on a series of concerts promoted
by United Christian Broadcasters. It's been fun, and very
worthwhile, but I have to confess, exhausting as well!
I drove home for a couple of days every five concerts, so
at least I have seen the family during the tour. This week
is all Scottish, with the tour finishing off in one of my
favourite places, Stornoway.
Up till now I've been travelling on my own, with the UCB rep
coming to the concerts in his own car, but this week, I have
a helper with me! Emma Downie has just finished Fifth Year
in school, and is doing her SVQ work experience placement
with us this week and next. Right now she's sitting here with
Carol and me in the office , and this afternoon we head off
in the van to Clydebank, for the first of this week's gigs.
By Friday Emma will be an expert in putting up and taking
down the sound equipment, and helping on the CD table!
Do try to make it to one of the concerts if you can.
After the tour, we shut down a bit for the summer, but I
will try to get the autumn schedule up on the website soon.
