• New Projects

Hello everyone, and thanks for logging on to our site.
After one or two teething troubles, the buying online system is now working perfectly, and it's been nice to get e-mails froms folks saying how pleased they are with the prompt service. Little Misty Music is a very small concern. It's really just myself and my wife Carol working away in one large office room in our house, with occasional extra help if we need it at busy times. When you punch in your ordering details, the bank takes care of the card processing, and we get an e-mail saying who you are and what you'd like, and Carol just takes the stock off the shelf, wraps it up, and puts it in the mail that day!

New projects wise, I have three different things that I have begun work on, although we won't be releasing any new albums until 2002. One project is a collection of very guitar -based songs that I'm calling 'Stories from the Road', for those who enjoy that side of my work--i.e, songs like 'Jonah', Philippi, and Keep on keeping on'. The songs are all based on true stories- things that have happened to me, or people close to me , over the years. I'm really enjoying working on it,and it's good for me to stretch my guitar playing abilities a bit!

The second project is another album of worship songs, and the third is a new Children's series. The series will be called 'Little Chap--ters'' and begins at Mathew 1, with each song being about something in each chapter, Volume 1 will be the first 14 chapters of Mathew, and we'll see where it goes from there!

In addition, I have a little extra children's project that I'm thrilled to be involved in.
My friends at Christian Solidarity Worldwide have been funding and running a large orphanage in Moscow for the past five years, and on May17th, they are having a big 5th anniversary party. They've asked me to write a song for the occasion, pre-record a backing track, then sing it in Moscow with the Russian children on May 17th! I have the song already written, and will be recording the backing track over the next couple of weeks. [ Please link to www.csw.org.uk ]

On the website front, we are continuing to try to develop the site and make it informative and interesting for you, and as easy to use as possible. I'm discovering that it isn't always easy! I'm in the process of trying to have the complete LMM catalogue of printed music available for download from the site, but I've run into some snags concerning the type of file I'm using. Please be patient-- it will get fixed soon. Please continue to fire suggestions back to us for improvements, etc.
Also, because of the publishing deal I have with EMI in North America, we may shortly have to remove the 'Pre-revival days ' songs, and refer you to www.worshiptogether.com . However, the printed book will continue to be available from us, priced £5.

Thanks again for logging on, and enjoy the music!

Best wishes, Ian White.
