Hi everyone,
I’ve just returned from another New
Zealand Tour, organized by Tear
Fund/Compassion- it was a tour just
of the North Island , playing from
Wellington in the South right up to
Wangerei in the North. A busy
and fruitful time, but I did get a
chance to walk on a beach or two as
well, and you can see!

The situation is that in New
Zealand, Tear Fund does the
promotional work on the ground to
raise sponsorships for children, but
then links in to the Compassion
organization in the countries where
the children are [ mainly Africa,
India, Indonesia and Central and
South America].
The tour was very similar to what I
do here—just me with my guitar, in a
simple one man show . Although
the audiences were never very big,
we still managed to have a great
time, and succeeded in getting
nearly 90 more children sponsored!
Every one is a real person, not just
a picture on a piece of paper
- as the poster says, Sponsor
a Child, because you can!

Summer Plans. This week-end is all
about High Voltage! We’ve been
rehearsing hard all week, and Becca,
our new vocalist, is ready for her
first appearance. She’ll only be
doing three songs in the first
concert, but will progress to more
I’m sure.
Bye for now!
Best wishes, Ian.
