Hi everyone, and thanks for logging on.
Myself, plus singers Nikki Gardiner and
Garry Brotherston, and High Voltage, a
young band featuring my sons Taylor and
Harrison are performing a free worship
concert in the beautiful International
Conference Centre in Edinburgh a week on
Saturday night [May 28th], as part of a
celebration day organised [and paid
for!] by the Church of Scotland. Many
delegates are booked in for the day's
events, but the organisers have asked me
to let my own contacts know especially
about the late evening concert. If you
live within striking distance of
Edinburgh, please consider coming !
It's a late one, from 9.30-11.30, though
we imagine some folks leaving early!
For those of you living further afield,
perhaps there's someone you could call
living in the Scottish central belt to
let them know about it! No tickets
needed, just show up at 9 or so at the
Conference Centre.
Secondly, thanks to
all of you who expressed an interest in
hosting a Compassion concert later in
the year. It now looks as though the
tour will run from November 2nd through
to December 2nd. If you have already
written, you'll be hearing from me soon,
but I still have some
days to fill, so if you feel you could
host one of these evenings, please drop
me a line for details-- they're very
easy to organise, and we give lots
of help!
I'll write again
soon with a concert diary update, but in
the meantime, hope to see you on May
28th!
Best
wishes, Ian White.
