Hi folks, and thanks again so much
for logging on.
We’re just back from a family
holiday, and while we were away, the
manufacturing of Psalms Revisited
was underway, and the finished
product arrived today-
Monday- our first day back in the
office! The album is a bit of a
risk, in that I have re-recorded
some of the Psalms first done twenty
years ago, and I have no doubt that
I will pick up some comments by
folks saying that they still prefer
the old versions! My hope is that
the freshness of the tracks will
appeal to a new audience, and that
we will pick up some good radio play
also. My colleague David Cullen in
New Zealand is going to distribute
the album there, and I believe it
could be very well received.
The concert diary for November has
filled up very well, with many
concerts coming in again from
Northern Ireland. My links with
Compassion and India Ministries
Fellowship continue, and I will be
drawing people’s attention to both
organizations at concerts.
I have a special day on November 10th,
when I have been invited to
participate in Christian Solidarity
Worldwide’s national conference in
London. I have written songs for
them previously, and they asked me
to do it again. On this new album,
my setting of Psalm 34, which has
not been recorded before, has been
dedicated to CSW, and I’ll be
singing it at the conference. Do

-
worth a look.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the
new album-- all comments
appreciated! Ian.
