• Northern Ireland Tour

Hello everyone, and thanks for logging on to Little Misty Music.
This is a news page that I try to update regularly--- at the moment I'm in the middle of a series of concerts round Northern Ireland, and so far it's going well. Have a look at the diary page to see where I'm going to be next if you're reading this from N.I, and, if you make it to a concert, please come and tell me if you read about it here!
These are early days for the website, and we want to know if it is providing a good service to you.

• Russia!

On May 15th, I left Heathrow on my first trip to Moscow, Russia. I had been invited there by the Christian Solidarity Worldwide organisation, to get involved with their wonderful project among orphaned children.

CSW had asked me to compose a song that some of the children could sing at a big party to celebrate five years of the orphanage project, and this I duly did. However we also thought we could use the song in a wider sphere to help publicise CSW's work, and I picked the three best singers out of the group of children , and had them taken to a studio to record the song properly. The song is called 'Every child brings love into the world', and the children sing it in both Russian and English. The three girls, pictured above , are called Vicki, Anisia, and Lala! [ pronounced as in tellytubbies!]

While I was there, I began thinking how great it would be if I could bring the three girls to London to sing at the CSW conference on October 6th, and I decided in my heart that I would commit myself to raising the money to bring them, and one adult, over. I mentioned my idea to a few people when I returned home, and before I knew it, God just seemed to have put in in people's hearts to support me in the plan, and this week I am able to send CSW more than enough money to bring the children over.

So, if you can make it to Westminster Chapel, during the day on Saturday October 6th, come and hear the girls-- it will truly touch your heart! CSW is a great organisation to support.

• Ian's Summer Season!

I'm having a fairly relaxed summer, with plenty of time with the family, and hope to keep up my songwriting, in preparation for a very busy recording year next year-[ a children's album, a worship album, and a guitar based songs album are planned], but I will also be making 5 appearances at a holiday caravan park in Ayrshire!!
The dates are, [all Saturdays, July 14th, 28th, August 4th, 11th, and 25th.]

I'll explain what that's all about in my next update. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy browsing around on the site. Please note that although prices in the online 'shop' are quoted in British pounds, you can use your credit card from wherever you are in the world, and the conversion is automatically done.

Bye for now!!

Ian White.
