Hi everyone and thanks for logging on!
Thanks to all of you who came to the July
25th concert-- it really did go well, and it was a great thrill for me
to be onstage with my two sons in the band! Afterwards I'm sure they
signed twice as many autographs as I did! Next band concerts are on
Friday 24th and Saturday 25th in Broughty Ferry near Dundee--venue and
ticket details to follow, but these are worth attending. Nikki Gardiner
again will be performing with us, and the chemistry of the whole show
just seems to work!
You'll see by the diary page that I'm off travelling extensively
from September onwards. First up is New Zealand. I used to tour there
regularly, and it will be great to return, this time for a worship
conference. I'll let you know how I got on when I return, and if you're
reading this in NZ, do try to get to one of the events, in Christchurch,
Wellington, or Auckland, and try to say hello if you can! More info on
the diary page.
This autumn we also kick off a new series of praise services at my
local church, Kinnoull, here in Perth, and the first is a special
morning youth service on August 29th. The next is an evening one, on
September 19th, and although these are primarily for our local folk,
visitors are warmly welcomed!
