| Happy New
Year everyone! As you'll see from the Diary page,
within January, I have a few Scottish concerts and another
trip to Nashville . In February there's a mix of English ,
Irish and Scottish engagements.
As I mentioned in my previous news pages, this year sees
a bit of a change in that I'm only taking on mid-week concerts,
to allow me to get more involved in work in my local church,
Kinnoull Church of Scotland. However , I do still need to
work, so please invite me if you'd like to have me sing at
your church!
Recording wise, 2002 saw the release of two albums, both
mixtures of old and new songs. 'Non-Stop'
is an upbeat collection, and Piano,
released in November , is being well received as an album
for quieter moments! The song ' Part of Heaven', written for
my son Harrison, is probably my favourite track, and has become
a regular item in my concert programme.
I have already started working on a new project for the autumn.
It is to be an all-new praise and worship album probably to
be entitled Moment of Truth. I had a great recording session
of the first four tracks in a Glasgow studio just before Christmas.
My thanks to all the singers from Glasgow, Ayr, and Strathaven
who worked so hard that evening!
Moment of Truth Tour.
Linked to the new recording, I'm proposing to embark
on a series of concerts introducing the new material round
the UK , beginning in October. Plans are in a very early stage,
but I'd love to hear from you if you'd be interested in hosting
